-> On a more somber note: The death of Gordon B. Hinkley hit me hard last night. I had no idea he wasn't his normal superhumanly-energetic self until I heard the news about 8:15 last night. I'm so glad he went peacefully... I would be happy to live to the ripe old age of 97.
He was the leader of our church for as long as I can remember, so I know it'll be difficult to see another in his place. I pray for his family and friends, and I pray for those who might not transition well to a new leader.

People keep asking me why I'm taking Russian, as I have no ancestry there or anything. I guess it was partly because two of my uncles have been there for an extended period of time or go there often, so I can at least practice with them... there's also an idea floating around in my head that I might go on a Language Program to Russia to teach children there English. All that, and it just felt right.
Anyways, the other ones are required and/or fun.
